But what makes us Christian?
Our co-founder and CEO, Glenn Story, was asked this question at a recent event we sponsored. It’s a great question.
If you’ve been following Patriot Mobile, you know that we’re not shy about proclaiming Christ at the helm of our company. Patriot Mobile’s mission is to passionately defend our God-given, Constitutional rights and freedoms, and to glorify God always. We fund that mission by providing dependable nationwide cell phone service to our members. We strive to provide exceptional customer service through our U.S.-based member services team while contributing a portion of every dollar earned to causes that align with our values.
This mission informs our decisions and guides us in the way we run our business.
This begins with our reverence for God’s word. At the Patriot Mobile headquarters in Texas, we host a weekly, hour-long Bible study, led by Pastor Rafael Cruz. Every week, Pastor Rafael takes us through an in-depth study of a passage of God’s word and teaches the Biblical perspective on a host of pertinent issues. The Bible study is open to all our employees and guests, and we broadcast them live on our social media channels to bless others who tune in.
At Patriot Mobile, we understand the power of prayer. We begin our company-wide meetings with prayer, inviting God’s presence and his counsel to guide us. Every May, we support various events for the annual National Day of Prayer. We also have a team of intercessors who gather to pray for Patriot Mobile, our employees, our members, and our nation regularly.
Patriot Mobile is unabashedly pro-life because God values life. In Jeremiah 1:5, God says, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart.” In Psalm 139:13-14, King David acknowledges, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Because of our strong pro-life conviction, we support organizations that are defending the right to life, including Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, Concerned Women for America, and Students for Life. In January, a group of our employees traveled to our nation’s capital to march alongside thousands of pro-lifers at the March for Life.
We also support pro-life, pro-love organizations that help the women, men, and babies through unexpected pregnancies by providing for their physical and spiritual needs. Not only do we give financial support to organizations like Embrace Grace and the Counsel for Life, in April, our employees volunteered at the Embrace Grace headquarters to pack 200 ‘love boxes’ for expectant mothers. We also bought gifts and hosted a baby shower. With the recent announcement of Roe v. Wade being overturned, Patriot Mobile has committed to increasing our giving to pro-life organizations to $400k this year.
Patriot Mobile gives to ministries that are spreading the gospel around the world. For example, we donate to the Holy Ghost Ministries, which engage in evangelism, Bible teaching, leadership training, missions and humanitarian projects. We support Eastern European Mission, which freely supplies over a million Bibles and Bible-based materials to over 30 nations every year. Additionally, we support The Hope Center, a one-of-a-kind Christian nonprofit that is home to 60+ Christian organizations that are doing important work for the Kingdom.
We also support evangelism in innovative ways. Patriot Mobile loves the work Christian filmmaker, Dallas Jenkins, and his team have done with the TV series, The Chosen. This ministry is reaching over a billion souls for Christ through film. Earlier this year, we hosted a fundraiser for The Chosen ministry to build a state-of-the-art Sound Stage for Christian filmmakers.
We know the spreading of the gospel is furthered when the laws of our land promote religious liberty. That’s why we ardently support First Liberty—the largest legal organization in the nation dedicated exclusively to defending religious liberty for all Americans.
Last year, when the Biden administration abandoned Americans in Afghanistan, Patriot Mobile joined the Mercury One Charity in making calls and raising funds to help evacuate Christians left behind. When Russia invaded Ukraine earlier this year, Patriot Mobile partnered with Eastern European Mission to provide humanitarian aid and Bibles to the refugees through its vast network of partner churches and organizations in the area.
At Patriot Mobile, we will never stop our employees from bringing their Bibles to work, praying, or sharing the gospel. In fact, we encourage it and even have prayer walls.
In our Member Services department, our employees do more than just customer support. For example, member services specialist, Philip Holsworth, helped a customer solve an issue a few months ago over the phone. During their conversation, Philip felt the prompting of the Holy Spirit to pray for him on a personal matter. The member graciously accepted and Philip had the opportunity to pray for him. Philip was blessed to run into this member at our booth at an event we sponsored a few months later! This is just one example of what it means for us to be the ‘hands and feet’ of Jesus.
Patriot Mobile does not wear the Christian name lightly. We know we are far from perfect, and we are so very thankful for the grace we received when our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, died on the cross to save us all from our sins.

Last year, Patriot Mobile was able to give over $500k to organizations that align with our Christian beliefs. This year, we are on our way to donating over two million dollars to Christian conservative causes. As God continues to bless Patriot Mobile, we, as his stewards, continue to bless others and spread the Gospel.
