Tarrant County is the crown jewel of the Republican Party in Texas. For many election cycles their state wide candidates and office holders have depended on the efforts of Tarrant County Republican Party to get voters to the polls.

Tarrant county is the only large urban Republican county in Texas. The work they do locally helps keep Texas strong, free and prosperous. They maintain a year round Headquarters in Ft. Worth, Texas that provides services and resources for voters, candidates and local Republicans. Additionally, they oversee the Republican Primary election, and recruit and train Republicans to work at the polls in the November general election. Tarrant county GOP receives no funding from the Republican National Committee or the Republican Party of Texas. Their work is funded by contributions and are legally classified as a political action committee whose structure is determined by State law and by Party rules.
