Patriot Mobile proudly sponsored and attended Turning Point USA’s Young Women’s Leadership Summit (YWLS) in Dallas, Texas on June 9-11. As one of the largest events in the country for young female conservatives, 3000 students gathered to hear from some of the biggest names in the conservative movement, participate in networking events, and receive first-class activism and leadership training.
For decades, women have been lied to by the legacy media on a slew of different issues. From what constitutes a fulfilling life to “healthcare”, this conference sought to “set the record straight.” Prominent conservative speakers including TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk, Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, Dana Loesch, Candace Owens, Kari Lake, and Riley Gaines gave enlightening speeches about female leadership and activism.
Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert encouraged the women to take a bold stance against the prevailing culture. “Target going after our children and the sexualization of our children – tens of billions have been lost in market value, because Americans took a stand and said we are not going to tolerate this,” she said.
Radio host Dana Loesch gave a sobering perspective on what it costs to stand on your convictions. “Do not enter politics or commentary with the goal of being liked,” said radio host Dana Loesch. “You will never be liked by everyone, and you wear that as a feather in your cap because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. If you worry about being liked, you’ll compromise on anything.”
TPUSA Founder Charlie Kirk touched on the importance of women getting involved in the cultural and political conversation surrounding biological men in women’s sports. “This has to be a female-led movement,” said Kirk. “By the way, it will only be successful if it is a female-led movement… You have to be disagreeable on this topic.”
Leigh Wambsganss, Patriot Mobile’s Chief Communications Officer, took the stage on Saturday, encouraging the women to stand strong in their identity in Christ. “Every woman in here is a daughter of the King!” she said. “Remember, you’re made for such a time as this… He made each of you with a gift to fight for Him in this culture!”
The Patriot Mobile buzzed all weekend with many attendees stopping by to get our exclusive YWLS 2023 t-shirts, spin the wheel for free swag, and take their photo 0n our 360 photo booth stocked with patriotic props. We loved meeting all the young women and sharing Patriot Mobile’s Christian conservative mission with them. We were encouraged to see so many young women attending YWLS with their mothers and grandmothers – creating a multigenerational memory that they will cherish for years to come.
