CWA’s She Prays, She Votes Tour Rallies Christian Women Ahead of Midterms

As America approaches the November 3 midterm elections, Concerned Women for America (CWA) is taking its message of faith and civic responsibility on the road. The organization’s 2026 She Prays, She Votes Big Pink Bus Tour is traveling across key states, encouraging Christian women to pray for the nation, engage in the political process, and vote for candidates who share their values.

Beginning in Columbus, Ohio, on October 6, the tour has brought together local leaders, ministry partners, and believers for rallies, prayer gatherings, and conversations about America’s future, encouraging Christian women to faithfully live out their convictions in their communities and at the ballot box.

Faith Must Lead to Action

During the tour’s stop in Texas, Annabelle Rutledge, National Director of Young Women of America, a youth initiative of CWA, highlighted the power of collective prayer after an evening gathering at Sojourn Church in Carrollton.

“I can’t tell you how many pastors and how many churches tell us “no” when we reach out to them, even in a state like Texas, which just highlights the battle that we’re up against, which is not against flesh and blood,” Rutledge said. “We met Texas in prayer last night. It was incredibly powerful.”

Jana Long, CWA’s Texas State Director, urged believers to recognize that elections have real consequences for families, children, and the protection of life. She also encouraged Christians to support their churches and remind pastors and church leaders of the importance of civic participation.

“If all Christians could just vote, our state, our communities, our nation would look so different,” Long said.

Patriot Mobile Supports Concern Women for America’s Mission

Patriot Mobile sponsored the bus tour, bringing together two of its ministry partners, CWA and Embrace Grace. Danielle Buck, Patriot Mobile’s Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, explained that the company’s founding vision was to use everyday Americans’ cell phone service to fund causes that truly matter.

As a mother of two young boys, Buck described her motivation for civic engagement as deeply personal: “I get up every day, and I think about how I am working to try to save this country.”

She challenged Christians to have honest conversations with friends and family about the upcoming election, helping others understand the issues and vote according to biblical values.

“There is still time to fight. There’s still time to speak truth in the darkness,” Buck said.

CWA expressed gratitude for Patriot Mobile’s sponsorship and the coalition partners helping bring the tour’s message to communities across the country.

Embrace Grace: Putting Pro-Life Convictions Into Practice

The Texas gathering also highlighted Embrace Grace, a ministry that equips churches to support women experiencing unexpected pregnancies and the babies’ fathers.

Founder Amy Ford explained that the organization provides churches with curriculum, training, and resources to help families receive practical, emotional, and spiritual support. Its vision is for every woman facing an unexpected pregnancy to have a local church she can turn to for help.

Ford summarized the ministry’s approach with a memorable distinction: “Pro-Life is a stance. It’s a belief, it’s a vote. But pro-love is the action.”

She encouraged attendees to become mentors, lead support groups, or serve as “church buddies” who welcome newcomers into a congregation. Her message offered a practical reminder that defending life involves more than political convictions; it requires communities willing to walk alongside mothers, fathers, and children with compassion.

Ending in Prayer, Moving Forward in Faith

The gathering concluded with attendees joining together in prayer for the nation, Texas, local churches, and elected leaders. Participants asked God to strengthen pastors, embolden congregations, and give Christians courage to walk in obedience.

The Big Pink Bus Tour serves as a reminder that Christians can respond by praying for the nation, learning where candidates stand on issues that matter, encouraging friends and family to vote, and serving vulnerable families in their communities.
