Longtime Patriot Mobile friend and Christian singer-songwriter Natasha Owens is honoring the life and legacy of our mutual friend Charlie Kirk with her powerful new single, “We Miss You, Charlie,” featuring Benjy Gaither.
Released September 4 through Real America’s Music, the heartfelt tribute comes as Americans mark one year since Charlie’s tragic death. Rather than focusing solely on the loss, the song looks forward, calling on the millions of people Charlie inspired to carry his legacy forward.
That message is already resonating. Since its release, “We Miss You, Charlie” has climbed to #3 on the iTunes Pop Songs Chart and #13 on the iTunes All Genres Songs Chart. The song debuted on the Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart at #25, and the official music video has surpassed 488,000 views so far.
Remembering What Charlie Gave Us
“I wanted to create something that remembered Charlie but didn’t end with his death,” Natasha said. “The song is really about what happens next.”
That idea is at the heart of “We Miss You, Charlie.” The song remembers Charlie not simply for what America lost, but for what he gave us: the countless people he reached, the young Americans he inspired to find their voices, and the courage he gave others to stand firmly for what they believe.
Charlie had a remarkable ability to challenge people, especially young people, to think deeply, question what they were being told, speak the truth without fear and recognize their responsibility to help shape America’s future.
