March 25, 2025 – Patriot Mobile CEO Glenn Story had the honor of addressing the Granite City (Illinois) Rotary Club’s Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast as the keynote speaker. The Rotary Club, one of the largest service organizations in the United States, is composed of business and professional leaders committed to high ethical standards and humanitarian efforts. Mayor Mike Parkinson graciously welcomed our team to the city for this meaningful event.
In a rare and heartfelt speech, Story shared his personal journey, reflecting on the values that have shaped his life and leadership. Growing up with a father who was a World War II veteran—and as the great-great-grandson of Socrates Justus, who served in the Civil War—he developed a deep honor and love for our country and the brave men and women who serve to protect it. Story built his career in New York City, helping companies grow and go public. In 2010, the family felt God calling them to move to Texas, where they later founded Patriot Mobile with a mission to provide a conservative alternative for consumers who want to vote with their wallets. Little did they know, this this decision would open countless opportunities to live out their faith in unprecedented ways and boldly stand for religious freedom in both business and culture.
What makes Patriot Mobile unique is our unwavering commitment to giving back. A portion of every dollar earned is contributed to causes that support the First Amendment, the Second Amendment, the sanctity of life, and our Military, Veterans, and First Responder heroes. As a company, Patriot Mobile is on a mission to uphold the values of our Founding Fathers—principles that built this great nation.
Living Out Christian Conservative Values
The Founders emphasized civic virtue—honesty, integrity, and active participation in public life—as essential for a successful republic. At Patriot Mobile, we embrace these same principles, which guide our business efforts. As John Hancock once said, “People who have a stake in their country and their community are the best citizens.”
Story encouraged the audience not to shy away from their faith, whether in their business, family, or government roles. Patriot Mobile is proudly Christian, encouraging its leaders to lean into their faith. The company even hosts weekly Bible studies, one that is led by Pastor Rafael Cruz (father of Senator Ted Cruz), providing an optional opportunity for staff to grow spiritually. Additionally, Patriot Mobile’s customer service agents are always welcome to pray for members who call in, as they feel led to do.
Story also shared how Patriot Mobile’s mission evolved over the years. Initially, the company focused solely on conservative values, but after a few years, he felt impressed by God to add “Christian” to the company’s tagline—not just as a slogan but as a core focus of the business. From the moment Patriot Mobile embraced this identity by leaning into our faith, the company experienced exponential growth. Story emphasized that this was not by chance but a fulfillment of Biblical principles—when seeds are planted in faith, God promises a return.
Lessons from a Faith-Driven Entrepreneur
During his address, Story shared key lessons that have guided his journey:
- Living out one’s faith publicly is a central tenant of Christian discipleship.
- It is the Great Commission to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19)
- In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said there is a reason we are called to proclaim Him in the public square – Matthew 5:14-15 says, “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket.”
- Give back to your community as God blesses your business.
It was a privilege for our team to visit Illinois and bring encouragement to Granite City. In this diverse union city, Story’s message resonated across party lines, proving that stories of faith transcend politics and speak to people from all walks of life.
We were blessed to share our story, and we hope it inspires other leaders and business owners to live out their faith boldly and lead their organizations and families according to God’s Word.
