On March 11, 2025, Patriot Mobile proudly sponsored four buses, enabling over 200 citizen patriots from seven Texas cities to travel to Austin and advocate for their 2nd Amendment rights at the state capitol.
Texas Gun Rights (TXGR) led this impactful event in cooperation with a coalition of organizations, including Gun Owners of America, the National Association for Gun Rights, Women for Gun Rights, and True Texas Project. This united effort demonstrated a strong commitment to preserving our constitutional rights.
The day began at the Robert E. Johnson Conference Center, where participants received an informative briefing on Texas gun laws and legislative proposals. Experts and advocates provided crucial insights into pending bills and their potential impact on Texans’ Second Amendment rights.
That afternoon, participants gathered on the Texas Capitol’s South steps for a grassroots rally. The event opened with a moving display of patriotism as attendees sang “God Bless America” and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to both the United States and Texas flags.
Patriot Mobile’s Chief Communications Officer, Leigh Wambsganss, was the first speaker, delivering a powerful message in defense of the Second Amendment. She declared, “Patriot Mobile is the ONLY wireless provider fighting for your Right to Bear Arms,” and warned, “Citizens without the right to bear arms are called subjects; we will not compromise on our Second Amendment rights.”
Other notable speakers included Lt. Col. Allen West, Texas Gun Rights President Chris McNutt, Gun Owners of America Senior VP Erich Pratt, National Association of Gun Rights President Dudley Brown, and several elected officials, all of whom reinforced the importance of safeguarding Texans’ constitutional rights.
Texas, as the largest red state in the country, is under attack from the Left. Progressive lobbyists are pouring massive amounts of money into Texas politics, directly influencing the bills being presented. If the Left succeeds in turning Texas blue, it would dramatically shift the political landscape of the entire nation. Preserving conservative values in Texas is critical to protecting our country’s future.
Following the rally, attendees met directly with lawmakers to discuss pro-Second Amendment bills in the current 89th legislative session. Key bills included HB 162 (banning red flag laws), SB 1065 and HB 1715 (prohibiting gun-free zones on public property), and HB 170 (expanding civil liability protecton for gun owners acquitted of criminal charges in self-defense cases).
As America’s only Christian conservative wireless provider, Patriot Mobile stands firm in defending our God-given rights, with the Second Amendment as one of our core pillars. We are grateful to the dedicated organizations championing these freedoms and to the hundreds of Texans who showed up to ensure their voices were heard at the state capitol.
This event showcased the power of grassroots activism and the importance of staying vigilant and united in defense of our God-given rights and freedoms.
