Patriot Mobile Co-Sponsors Moms for Liberty: Sea to Shining Sea Aboard the USS Midway

Patriot Mobile was honored to co-sponsor Moms for Liberty’s Sea to Shining Sea celebration aboard the USS Midway on June 6, 2026, as part of the ongoing Freedom 250 initiative commemorating America’s 250th anniversary.

Held on the 82nd anniversary of D-Day, the event brought together families, veterans, community leaders, and patriots to honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who have defended our nation’s freedoms. Against the historic backdrop of the USS Midway, attendees reflected on America’s enduring heritage and the responsibilities that come with preserving liberty for future generations.

The evening began with a stirring rendition of the National Anthem by recording artist Natasha Owens, followed by a moving performance from acclaimed singer Mary Millben. Livestreamed nationwide by Real America’s Voice, the celebration extended beyond San Diego, allowing Americans across the country to participate in this special tribute.

One of the evening’s most powerful themes was the importance of remembering the people and events that shaped our country. David Barton of WallBuilders reminded attendees that one of the nation’s first responses to D-Day was prayer. He noted that on June 6, 1944, President Franklin D. Roosevelt addressed the American people with a six-and-a-half-minute radio prayer for Allied forces as they began the invasion of Normandy. The story served as a powerful reminder of the faith, unity, and determination that carried the nation through one of the defining moments of World War II.

Glenn Beck reinforced the importance of preserving America’s history and identity, warning that “if we don’t remember… we forget who we are, where we came from and where we’re going.” His message challenged attendees to honor the sacrifices of previous generations by ensuring their stories continue to be told.

Representing Patriot Mobile, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships Danielle Buck reflected on her own family’s legacy of service. She shared stories about her maternal grandfather, a B-17 pilot during World War II; her paternal grandfather, who served as an Army-trained cardiologist; and her husband’s Air Force service after 9/11. Their examples, she said, illustrate a timeless truth: “Service and sacrifice come in many forms, but they all share one thing in common: they were willing to give of themselves for something bigger.”

Buck also challenged attendees to consider their own role in preserving the freedoms they enjoy today. “Freedom is not guaranteed,” she said. “It has been preserved by generations of Americans who answered the call to serve.”

Against the backdrop of the historic USS Midway, attendees experienced an evening that blended history, faith, music, and remembrance. From honoring the legacy of D-Day to celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, the event served as a powerful reminder that freedom is both a blessing and a responsibility.

At Patriot Mobile, we are honored to support organizations and events that celebrate faith, family, freedom, and the men and women who have defended those values. We remain committed to standing alongside those who are working to preserve America’s heritage while inspiring future generations to carry it forward.
