On October 26, Patriot Mobile served as the title sponsor of the 2024 Embrace Grace Gala, marking our third consecutive year supporting this annual event dedicated to empowering women facing unplanned pregnancies. This year’s theme, “Spark,” underscored the profound impact a single act of hope can have, empowering women to choose life for their children.
The evening began with a prayer from Patriot Mobile’s Chief Communications Officer, Leigh Wambsganss, who highlighted the importance of Embrace Grace’s mission. She expressed gratitude for the organization’s work, asking for blessings upon all the lives touched by Embrace Grace. “We pray that you wake up the nation and turn it into a culture of life and we ask that you help us promote the pro-love movement,” she said. “You can make beauty from ashes in every situation.”
Since its inception, Embrace Grace has made significant strides in expanding its ministry, aiming to establish support groups in every safe church across the United States. With over 1,200 groups active in all 50 states, the organization provides material resources and a sense of community, assuring women they are not alone in their journeys. In just the past year, more than 2,600 babies have been born through the life-saving efforts of Embrace Grace.
Amy Ford, the founder of Embrace Grace, emphasized the vital role churches can play in this mission, particularly in a nation where over a million abortions occur annually. She called on attendees to be a “spark” in the lives of those considering abortion, offering hope and practical support, reminding them that “they don’t have to choose between their dreams and their baby.” Ford also expressed deep appreciation for Patriot Mobile. “I want to thank Patriot Mobile. It’s not just a great mobile phone company, but they are partnering with Kingdom nonprofits and making a difference in the world,” she said. “They have definitely changed us and we’re so thankful.”
Throughout the gala, attendees were inspired by stories of transformation from Embrace Grace alumni, who shared how the organization had changed their lives. One alum shared, “If my family friend hadn’t stopped what she was doing that day and told me about this ministry, my life would look so much different than it does now. Embrace Grace has been more than just a program – it has been a transformational life, given me a spiritual family, and it’s helped me rewrite my story.”
With the support of Patriot Mobile, other sponsors, and individual donors, Embrace Grace aims to expand its network to every safe church in America. This initiative could make abortion “unthinkable” by surrounding women with love and support during vulnerable moments.
