Lifeline Children’s Services, guided by the biblical mandate of James 1:27, works tirelessly to care for orphans and vulnerable children. Their mission is to empower the Body of Christ to live out the gospel by providing pro-life, pro-love services such as adoption services, post-adoptive family support, foster care, global orphan care, family re-unification support, and counseling.
Patriot Mobile was honored to serve as a legacy sponsor for Lifeline’s Share the Story event, which is an important fundraiser for Lifeline. The inspiring evening highlighted transformative adoption stories with moving testimonies from Lifeline families, showcasing God’s faithfulness in creating forever homes through adoption. Weaved throughout the event, several families walked the runway in a family-style fashion show, celebrating their adoption journeys. This heartfelt display not only reflected God’s work in bringing families together but also celebrated resilience, love, and divine purpose.
Herbie Newell, President of Lifeline, highlighted the beauty of adoption as a reflection of God’s unconditional love: “The orphan needs a home, the orphan needs belonging. God’s people have been called to give them that home and give them that belonging…because we have been called to mirror the love of God, our Father. So far this year, 153 children have come home to Christian families and found their forever families through adoption.
In addition to adoption, the organization also provides support for birth mothers facing unplanned pregnancies, offers post-placement counseling, and fosters global partnerships to care for orphans worldwide. Their work equips the Church to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus in transformative ways.
Lifeline also helps birth mothers regain custody of their children, out of the foster care system, by providing them with counseling and support to retain jobs and obtain housing. One such mother provided her testimony of leaving an abusive relationship that had resulted in her children being taken away from her. Through the support of Lifeline, she gained employment, a home and was given parental counseling such that her three children now live with her permanently.
