Patriot Mobile Sponsors Third Annual Tarrant County National Day of Prayer

Patriot Mobile was honored to once again serve as the title sponsor of the Third Annual Tarrant County National Day of Prayer, bringing together hundreds of believers, community leaders, pastors, and public servants for a powerful time of prayer, worship, and encouragement in North Texas.

Hosted by Tarrant County Judge Tim O’Hare, the event focused on faith, freedom, and America’s future as the nation approaches its 250th birthday of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. During the opening prayer, Tarrant County Commissioner Matt Krause reminded attendees of the responsibility Americans have to steward the freedoms they’ve been given.

“We pray we would not take that for granted, but that we would carry on that legacy and make sure that the next generations have the same freedoms and liberties that we enjoy,” Krause prayed. He also encouraged believers to “work and pray for the welfare of the city and the county and the state and the nation where you planted us.”

Judge O’Hare took time during the event to thank Patriot Mobile for its continued support, telling the crowd, “I want to thank our sponsors, especially Patriot Mobile. Thank you for always coming through here.”

One of the most memorable moments of the luncheon was a conversation with former University of Texas quarterback and NFL veteran Colt McCoy. McCoy spoke openly about faith, adversity, and trusting God through both success and disappointment.

Reflecting on the devastating injury he suffered during the 2010 national championship game, McCoy shared how his faith carried him through one of the hardest moments of his career.

“In that moment of disappointment and frustration, that was what God intended,” McCoy said. “Faith isn’t always certainty. Sometimes faith is simply staying close to Jesus when life doesn’t make sense.”
McCoy also encouraged attendees to remain grounded in prayer and Scripture, saying, “Prayer reminds us who we are and who we aren’t. It reminds us we were never meant to carry the weight of life on our own.”

Representing Patriot Mobile Faith, Pastor David Blease shared how Patriot Mobile was founded to give Americans a values-driven alternative in the wireless industry.

“Patriot Mobile was born to give believers like us a chance to put our phone bill toward not just supporting a phone company that has incredible service, but also supporting like-minded initiatives,” Blease said.

He also highlighted Patriot Mobile Faith’s mission to help expand the Gospel and support ministries defending biblical values, life, and religious freedom.

“With the launch of Patriot Mobile Faith, we are dedicated not only to like-minded initiatives, but actually expanding the Gospel,” Blease shared. “Your phone bill can also support ministry.”
