Patriot Mobile Proudly Supports Concerned Women for America’s Summit 2023

Patriot Mobile was honored to be the title sponsor of Concerned Women for America’s Summit 2023 in Washington, D.C. This year’s theme was aptly titled, ‘Steadfast & Immovable,’ in reference to 1 Corinthians 15:58: “Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”

Women of all ages from across the country gathered in our nation’s capital for three days of political training, activism, and encouragement. Patriot Mobile not only sponsored this important event, but several of our staff also participated in the summit activities.

Patriot Mobile’s sponsorship helps mothers with unplanned pregnancies

On the first day, over 200 Concerned Women for America (CWA) and Young Women for America (YWA) volunteers advocated for the Life.gov bill. This proposed legislation acknowledges the difficulties that women encounter when confronted with unplanned pregnancies and aims to provide them with information about the resources available to support their decision to choose life. It is no coincidence that 86% of women who had abortions in 2020 were unmarried. Pregnant women who feel alone and scared too often turn to abortion, believing they have nowhere else to turn for help. This legislation would create a Life.gov website listing local, state, and federal resources already available for expectant mothers and families.

Providing words of encouragement, we heard from numerous pro-life legislators, including Senator Ted Cruz, Senator JD Vance, Majority Leader Steve Scalise, Senator James Lankford, Senator Tommy Tuberville, Senator Marco Rubio, and Senator Marsha Blackburn.

Another eye-opening testimony of the summit was hearing the heart-wrenching testimony of Chloe Cole. Now a nineteen-year-old girl, Chloe was a former self-described “trans kid” who was started on testosterone and puberty blockers at the young age of thirteen by medical personnel. At the age of fifteen, she underwent a double mastectomy only to realize a year later what a terrible mistake she had made and that, in fact, she wanted to be a female. Yet every morning she wakes to the knowledge that she is living with scars, wounds, and mutilation that she must confront by herself daily.  Chloe and her parents were victims of the so-called “gender-affirming care” by medical “professionals.” Over the past year, she has shared her story in state legislatures across the country in an effort to save other vulnerable children from what she experienced. Not a dry eye was left in the room as Chloe shared her powerful testimony.

Patriot Mobile supports protecting women's sports

Radical gender ideologies are currently being promoted nationwide, depriving women of opportunities in sports. CWA has been at the forefront of the fight to protect women’s sports. Notably, in late June, the organization celebrated Women’s Sports Week in recognition of the 51st anniversary of Title IX. Since 2020, twenty-three states have stepped in to enact laws to protect female athletes from unfair competition. During the summit, speakers emphatically recognized the importance of preserving the integrity of women’s sports by keeping men out of them. Two YWA ambassadors, Macy Petty and Kylee Alons, who both played collegiate sports, have spoken on this issue on various news outlets. The former collegiate athletes participated in the summit, sharing their insights from personal experience. Patriot Mobile supports CWA’s efforts to safeguard the rights of female athletes.

Republican presidential candidates pledge to protect the dignity of women and girls

Numerous conservative leaders spoke to encourage the women during the summit, including former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis.

In an effort to protect women, Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee developed a ‘Presidential Promise to American Women.’ The pledge states, “As President of the United States, I promise to uphold the truth that women are exclusively female. Only women can be pregnant and bear children. Only women can be mothers. Under my Administration, the status and dignity of women and girls will not be compromised in law or policy…” Several Republican candidates have signed this pledge thus far, including Donald Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley, and Mike Pence.

Jenny Story, Patriot Mobile’s Chief Operating Officer, and Danielle Buck, VP of Strategic Partnerships, also took the stage to share why Patriot Mobile wholeheartedly supports CWA and YWA. Story loves CWA’s mission of “building warriors to champion women’s issues, including protecting women’s sports, bringing attention to gender mutilation, fighting for mothers and the unborn, bringing awareness to the dangers to women of chemical abortions and being the women’s voice on pro-family, pro-love and other issues near and dear to God’s heart.” Danielle further amplified that “these women are amazing because they volunteer of their time and talent. They are incredible prayer warriors who truly put God first. They exemplify the tenants of CWA: To Pray, To Educate and To Act.”

Patriot Mobile was honored to help support their training and inspire these CWA and YWA leaders to go back home and make an impact in their homes, communities and much more.
