Patriot Mobile is grieving with fellow Texans following the devastating floods that recently tore through the Texas Hill Country. Lives have been lost, families have been displaced, and brave first responders have worked tirelessly around the clock in search and rescue operations.
Our team is fervently praying for those affected by this disaster and for the brave men and women who have risked their lives to bring relief and rescue to those in desperate need.
As a Texas-based company, Patriot Mobile has been moved to pray and respond, standing ready to meet critical needs as they emerge. Last week, we received an urgent message: the Mountain Home Fire Department was in desperate need of large chainsaws to clear roads and debris—but local stores were empty, and online orders would take weeks to arrive. Without hesitation, the Patriot Mobile staff sprang into action. They found the needed equipment from multiple stores, loaded up, and hand-delivered it directly to them.
“Our hearts are broken for our fellow Texans who are facing unimaginable grief,” said Glenn Story, Patriot Mobile’s Founder and CEO. “These heroes are doing the hard work, and we’re honored to support them in any way we can.”
Dalton Dover, a local business owner who helped coordinate the delivery and relief efforts in Kerrville, expressed his appreciation:
“The world is watching, and some are responding with hearts of gold. Shout out to Patriot Mobile for mobilizing so fast and making a difference, and shout out to all the responders that are working tirelessly through tragedy.”
In times of crisis, we have personally witnessed how Americans come together to help one another. During the process of sourcing the equipment, Patriot Mobile reached out to Fox Rental, a local Dallas-based equipment rental company. Upon learning the reason behind the urgent request, the Fox Rental team responded with remarkable generosity—helping to donate several pieces of equipment and gas to support the relief effort. Their gracious contribution is a powerful reminder that adversity often reveals the strength and generosity within our communities.
Patriot Mobile also became aware of another urgent situation. Charles Holt, the Chief of the Center Point Volunteer Fire Department, had lost his phone during the flood. Recognizing how critical communication is during emergency response, Patriot Mobile was honored to ship him a new phone and provide service so he could continue leading vital relief efforts in the field.
In addition, we had the opportunity to donate dog supplies and treats to support a task force of 100 trained canines deployed for search and rescue and human remains detection efforts.
This moment of rapid response is not an isolated act, but rather part of a long-standing commitment. For several years, Patriot Mobile has proudly partnered with Mercury One, a trusted disaster relief organization dedicated to humanitarian aid, preserving America’s heritage, and empowering citizens to boldly stand for truth.
Since the earliest days of this crisis, Mercury One and its partners have been on the ground in Kerr County, actively providing essential aid. Their efforts have included preparing and distributing hot meals, supporting search and rescue operations, delivering vital supplies, and now assisting families in the monumental task of rebuilding their homes and lives.
We are reminded of this verse in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4:
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”
We are thankful that God is near to all those in need and faithful to sustain us through every hardship. While the road ahead may be long, Patriot Mobile continues to stand in prayer and service on behalf of the Kerr County community.
