Victory: Patriot Mobile Celebrates Court Upholding Texas Law Requiring Ten Commandments in Classrooms

A federal appeals court has upheld Texas’s law requiring the Ten Commandments to be displayed in public school classrooms, delivering a significant victory for religious liberty and reaffirming the historical role of faith in America’s legal foundation.

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the law, Senate Bill 10, does not violate the Constitution, finding it consistent with both the Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause. The ruling reverses a prior injunction and clears the way for implementation across the state.

The ruling recognized that prior legal standards used to restrict religious expression no longer apply. The court pointed to the Supreme Court’s decision in Coach Joe Kennedy’s case, Kennedy v. Bremerton School District, which rejected the longstanding “Lemon test” and replaced it with a framework rooted in history and tradition. By doing so, the court affirmed that earlier precedents used to block displays like the Ten Commandments no longer carry the same weight, clearing a path for laws like Texas’s S.B. 10 to stand.

With this decision, Texas schools will now be required to display a donated Ten Commandments poster in a “conspicuous” location in every classroom, reinforcing what we recognize as a return to the moral and historical foundations that shaped our nation.

Patriot Mobile has been engaged in supporting this effort through ongoing initiatives alongside like-minded organizations and leaders. In 2025, we donated 50,000 Ten Commandments posters across Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana, helping equip schools and public institutions with displays that reflect America’s Christian heritage.

In Arkansas, we worked with state lawmakers, faith leaders, and historians to support legislation that requires the display of the Ten Commandments in government buildings and schools. We joined leaders at the Arkansas State Capitol to mark the passage of this law and helped provide the posters that are now being placed in classrooms, public buildings, and higher education institutions across the state.

We also partnered with organizations like First Liberty Institute to expand these efforts nationwide, ensuring that schools can implement similar initiatives at no cost to taxpayers.

As Jenny Story, Patriot Mobile’s Chief Operating Officer, stated:

“Our Founding Fathers relied on the Ten Commandments as foundational guiding principles for organizing our Constitutional Republic. We believe this project reminds students that Americans’ rights come from God, not the government. It is our priority to support and defend our God-given rights and freedoms. This has been our mission from the very beginning of our company.”

As schools across Texas resume implementing this law, we are continuing to donate Ten Commandments posters—supporting educators, communities, and leaders working to pass these principles on to the next generation.

These displays help ensure our children understand the source of their rights and the principles that have guided America since its founding.
